Roasted meat with a breadcrumb coating of dried herbs and garlic

Ingredients:

  • 1 ribeye steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp Himalayan salt
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary
  • 1 portion Hot Honey Mild size of 30-50 grams

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Before you start cooking, take the ribeye out of the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking to let it come to room temperature.
2. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Rub the meat with olive oil and chopped garlic. Season with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and dried rosemary.
3. Sear the ribeye in a skillet over medium heat, browning all sides for about 10 minutes total. Then transfer it to the oven and cook for approximately 1.5 hours. When the internal temperature reaches 57-58°C (135-140°F), remove the meat and let it rest before slicing.
Note:
- Pour Hot Honey Mild over the cooked meat and cover with foil. It will melt and add a flavor to the roast beef. Caramelized onions make a great side dish.
