Most Delicious Czech-Style Beer-Marinated Pork Ribs

Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 600 ml dark fresh beer
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 3-4 medium onions
- 30 ml sunflower oil
- 30 ml soy sauce
- 20 g liquid mustard
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 portion Hot Honey Mild size of 20-30 grams

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ribs: Clean the ribs from any unwanted membranes, connective tissue, and bone splinters. Rinse and pat dry. Since we’ll be marinating them in beer, cut the ribs into sections of 2-4 ribs each and place them in a large, deep bowl.
2. Make the Marinade: In a separate bowl, mix the Hot Honey Mild and mustard. Add the minced garlic, salt, and ground black pepper. Pour in the sunflower oil and soy sauce, and mix well. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes. Then, dilute with the dark beer at room temperature and stir until you have a smooth marinade.
3. Marinate the Ribs: Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring that the liquid completely covers them. You can place a small weight on top to help submerge the ribs. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 to 6 hours.
4. Prepare for Baking: Peel and slice the onions into rings about 0.4 cm thick. Lay the onion rings in the bottom of a deep baking dish or on a baking sheet to create a flavorful vegetable "bed." Place the marinated ribs on top of the onions. Pour the remaining marinade over the meat and onion mixture. To prevent burning, cover the dish tightly with a large piece of foil, making sure it hangs over the edges and sealing the dish like a lid.
5. Bake: Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Place the covered dish in the oven and bake for at least 40 minutes. After this, remove the foil and baste the ribs with the rendered juices and remaining hot marinade. Continue baking uncovered for an additional 15-25 minutes, or until a crispy crust forms.
6. Serve: Serve the ribs with the stewed onion "bed." Side dishes such as rice, potatoes, cabbage, or even your favorite pasta go well with this dish. The pasta can be topped with the remaining onion gravy from the pan. This beautifully browned dish is sure to delight your friends and family.
