Chicken Breast in Honey Sauce
Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken breast
- 1 egg white
- 50 g cornstarch
- 40 g soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 6 g ginger
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 portion Hot Honey Classic Limited Edition size of 50 grams
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk the egg white. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and finely grated garlic and ginger. Mix well.
2. Marinate the Chicken: Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and place them in the bowl with the marinade. Add the cornstarch and mix thoroughly to coat the chicken evenly. Let it marinate for 1 hour.
3. Cook the Chicken: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces in a single layer and fry for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
4. Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, add the sesame oil, and then add finely grated garlic and ginger. Sauté until fragrant. Add ketchup, water, lemon juice, Hot Honey Classic Limited Edition, soy sauce, and paprika. Stir and simmer for about 7 minutes to slightly thicken the sauce.
5. Combine Chicken and Sauce: Add the fried chicken pieces to the sauce and mix well. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce reduces and the chicken absorbs the flavors.
Serve and Enjoy: Serve the chicken hot, with the rich honey sauce coating every piece. It pairs wonderfully with steamed rice or your favorite vegetables.
